CBASS ABSTRACT DEADLINE EXTENDED TO MARCH 21ST! You are invited to submit a presentation for CBASS 2022. We welcome all undergrads, graduate students, and postdocs involved in research with a life sciences component to participate. You do not have to be a biology student to participate. We take pride in CBASS being a cross-disciplinary event. If your work is in any way related to the life sciences, we would like to see it represented at the symposium. CBASS will take place virtually on Saturday, April 2nd, 2022. It will include :
a morning poster session by undergrads, graduate students, and postdocs
an afternoon lightning talks session by undergrads, graduate students, and postdocs
Awards will be given for graduate oral, graduate poster, undergrad oral, and undergrad poster presentations. The deadline for registration is Monday, March 21st, 2022 at 11:59 pm. The form to register for the poster and/or oral session can be accessed through the website (gocbass.weebly.com). You can go back to edit your submission at any time before the deadline. If you have any questions, please email the CBASS committee at [email protected] Posters must be 3'x4' at most and can be in either portrait or landscape orientation. Please submit posters by Monday, March 28th using the following Google Form (https://forms.gle/nsNY6QeAm7RrBheZ6) in PDF format or by attaching a URL for a Spark Page or other digital form (Maximum of 1GB). This will allow attendees time to view posters prior to the conference. *Note: It will be possible for registrants to download your poster PDF and see your Spark Page, therefore you should keep this in mind as you decide what information/data to include in your poster. Oral presentations will be done in a 'Lightning Talk' format with 5 minutes per talk followed by 2 minutes for questions. All students involved in research that have a life sciences component are encouraged to present. Students early in their careers should not allow a lack of data to prevent their participation. Presentations primarily consisting of ideas or proposed projects can be very beneficial to the presenter and are always welcome at CBASS. The event is designed to serve as a forum for discussion of research among peers in a friendly environment while raising awareness of ongoing projects related to life sciences at Clemson. So please feel encouraged to present your research in the low-pressure environment offered at CBASS. Again, the deadline for registration is Monday, March 21st, 2022 at 11:59 pm. Please email any questions you have to [email protected] If you would like to volunteer your time as a judge please visit our website to sign up! We look forward to seeing your submissions soon and your presentations on April 2nd!
